UAD Samplerate Mysteries

DSP for UAD compressors increase proportionally with samplerate.

Helios goes up but not proportionally.

Pultec stays the same (cause it always runs internally at 192Khz).

The sound of modfilter changes drastically with change in Samplerate.

What is going on with Helios and modfilter?

Another quirk, the 33609 (non-SE version) supposedly upsamples to 192kHz, yet you can't run it in higher than 96kHz sample rates.

The Neve EQs work opposite to the above - the full version is usable at any sample rate, but the non-upsampling versions only work up to 96kHz. Why is the 33609 "backwards"?

The OP included the reason right in his post, actually; it always operates at 192kHz. The original question was about Helios and the mod filter, not Pultec.

I dont know anything about 33609 since i dont own it but for pultec there is a logical explanation. You just have to read your manual and i advice you to do so. There are many helpful informations.
