Hi,
My question is about the UAFX amp simulator pedals, I have the Dream but I assume it would apply to all of the models.
I am using it on a live gig with IEM’s. Also might be relevant that I’m using a cordless radio pack on my guitar.
The clean sound is working great, but when I engage any of my drive or compressor pedals there is loads of hiss. (I’m powering all pedals including the Dream from a pedal power 4x4, so I think each one is isolated?) I think the pedals are all true bypass, there is no buffer. (Forest Green compressor, analogman kot, mason sd9.) The hiss is not affected at all by whether the guitar volume is up or down - I can mute the signal from the guitar but if any of the boost pedals are engaged there is still extreme hiss.
Is there any way to deal with this? Might a buffer pedal solve the issue? Many thanks in advance.
