Uaudio 3.9 causes crashes with Altiverb

I have UAD plugins with a Magam chassis, Powercore MKII card andAltiverb running on a Dual G5. My program is Nuendo.

Everything worked well until I intalled Uaudio 3.9. My system crashed continuously until I removed Altiverb. I saw on Audio Ease's forum that someome with the same setup but with DP had the same problem as me.

Any input would be appreciated.

which altiverb/Nuendo version is it & which OS version, Panther or Tiger ?

if your OS & altiverb's version are different from my system it could be then narrowed to a G5/Tiger & Altiverb5 compatibility problem (so Apple and/or Audio Ease stuff) as my G4 dual 1.42GHz, OSX.3.9, UAD v3.9, DP 4.52 & altiverb4 seem to live peacefully... knock on wood !

hope this helps a little...

Hi all,
I've got Altiverb5 and UAD-1 v3.9 installed and running quite well together. I tried installing in different orders and it never made a difference. If you do have a problem with one or the other, try running one of the installers again (or possibly both) as well as having your DAW software rescan the installed plugins. In Cubase/Nuendo you can do this from the Plugin Information panel. In Logic you do this from AU manager (Preferences>AU Manager). In DP, trash your ~/Library/Preferences/Digital Performer/Audio Unit Info Cache file and startup DP again.
