Unable to control line output in Console

HI,
I'm new here.

I recently entered the beautiful world of UAD through an "Apollo X4",
and I'm very happy with this, given that I work as a sound designer and sound engineer and constantly use UAD plug-ins to discover the sound with a "vintage" approach.

Lately for set-up needs, I have tried to create a copy of the "Monitor Out" to other line outputs to send it separately to the Subwoofer, so as not to rely on the latter's crossover and create Console filters to separately control a pair of HS7 and the Sub, so as to have more control in the calibration for my room.

Obviously the "Line 1\2" output for the Sub should be connected to the "Monitor Out" so that I can control the volume with the simple volume control of my X4 interface.

[All this obviously if I don't want to use the DAW for everyday life (since it is obviously routable inside the DAW) and use the Apollo with a standard desktop setup. I would like to be able to work with controls directly from the console every day and not always use other software for simple listening to music.]

And here's the catch:
Not only do I have the only option to use CUE Bus for each channel, therefore having to mix each send, of each input, to the direct output in question without having any control of the "output mix", routed for example in "Line1\2" ( another absurd thing is that I cannot use a mono output for example as direct out, given that the UAD philosophy is precisely that of its UNISON preamp and insert in real time, and therefore use the card simply as a processing stage to be output and mixing in an analogue mixer for example).

If these are my only solutions I don't think it's a product that should be worth all that money.

Are there any AUX outputs that are used for? Making an internal auxiliary send to the Console and then sending it in turn to some CUE and not even being able to lower the mix of this phantom Line 1\2 auxiliary output? And how could I use these outputs if I don't have volume control? For example, what if I have to pre-listen a monitor to the singer directly from this console and she asks me to lower the volume? Do I really need to turn down the sends on all channels?

We are talking about a truly elementary process that, for example, TotalMix by RME does very well.

I honestly wouldn't want to part with my Apollo since I'm now very fond of it: warm and beautiful powerful sound but, given its portability I was expecting something more malleable at least to use the Line 1\2\3\4 to the fullest.

I hope I missed some step or some function and, apologizing in advance, please reveal it to me.

If not, my options are:
1) Sell my Apollo x4 and change the world, certainly to the detriment of UAD preamps and DSPs that are now very dear to me
2) try with an RME Digiface USB to connect adata I\O to my Apollo and use TotalMix to route all my sources in the best and most correct way and maybe in the future expand everything with other ADAT hardware.

I apologize for the biblical message and I hope I have been as correct as possible in explaining my problem.

Thank you
