So I'm trying to use the preamps on Unison slot in the console. The light on the Apollo Arrow turn orange but I can't seem to record any sound in logic. When I use the same preamps in the inserts slot I have no such problem and everything records in Logic. Any info as to what I'm doing wrong?

Have you double checked where you’re at on the neve’s red knob? Turning it clockwise up towards 8 to 11 o’clock should be providing more than enough gain. Then you can turn up or down the actual fader and the clean digital volume on the bottom right of the plugin.
API should work similar and you can doublecheck that the -15db pad isn’t engaged.
