Universal Audio Arrow not working or not recognised

Hi,

I am using a iMac (Retina 5k, 27-inch, 2020) on macOS Big Sur.

Recently purchased online the Universal Audio Arrow interface.
Downloaded from UA website the latest UA software and when connected with a thunderbolt 3 cable, for the first minute all the lights around the main knob flashing orange every second, then they all stop; however, the audio interface is not recognised.

After the first minute, the interface is starting to randomly light in different colours all the leds.

After another minute they all stop and the interface looks as if it’s working and all menus can be accessed; however, not recognised.

Has anyone experienced this?
Can someone help?

Cheers

What does it say in the UA Meter app?

Hi Drew, many thanks for your swift reply. Message on UA Meter is: "Connect UA Device".
Ok, so that means the driver is loaded, but not seeing the device.

This points to cable, port, or device itself. Do you have options for any/all of these?

Can you post a pic of your cable?

Hi Drew, please see below a picture of the cable which is quite new, bought after purchased the interface.

On my iMac I have two ports which they’ve been tried.

Possibly the interface is the problem :(

Cool, cable is good.

Does it show in the System Report? Apple menu/About this Mac/More Info/System report

I tried this already.

Went through all the steps.

Uninstalled the software, deleted the Universal Audio folder from Library/Preferences and also the deleted all the com.uaudio…plist files

Reinstalled the latest software version, no success.
I suspect you have a faulty unit then.

Feel free to confirm with Support.
