Unlimited Instances

With all the frustration about dsp usage maxing out the UAD-1 cards, I just wanted to mention a workaround. Most everyone may already know this but it's worth repeating.

Not sure about other daws, but in Sonar you can have unlimited instances of any and all plugins - including the UAD-1 plugins - by eliminating dsp load with freeze tracks option. Then, for quick adjustments if needed, you can do a quick unfreeze, make your changes and then do a quick freeze again. The toggling is instantaneous.
It's a minor inconvenience but is worth fussing with when considering the benefits. Imagine 20 or 30 instances of 33609 on one card!

Freezing in Nuendo 2 wasn't nearly that sophisticated, unfortunately. I'll give it a shot with Cubase 4.
