Posting here at " General Discussion " , though another thread ( " Sonoma 14.5: Are we cool then? " ), has others
experiencing similar information that may encourage about their updating success.
MacBook Pro 2021 16 inch M1 Max, who just moved from Sonoma 14.4.1, to Latest Version Sonoma 14.5 ,
while also updating to Logic Pro 11 from it's closest previous version.
Using for Live Application; sending out of Logic, Main Mix, another Monitor Mix through Aux Sends
for platform monitoring, of which both are entering UA Console, then through to the Apollo Hardware,
while Daw is using Logic Plugs, and UA Console is using UAD Plugs. All plugs in Daw from Daw; all Plugs
in UA Console from UA. Logic is also sending Video to 2, 4k Ultra Short Through Vava Projectors.
One last note before sharing outcome, Logic 11's download ( 3 package option ) ,
was not downloaded as we are live with this computer setup, and they are not needed as may be for studio.
We moved on this rather quickly and Wow, ALL IS A GO. Smooth and Right.
Hoping that others can blaze through these transitions with as little issues as possible, or none like we had.
We believe that staying a bit more proprietary may be One of the reasons in smoother transition experiences.
