Using Luna Live

Hi, Does anyone have experience using Luna for live work? I need to play some extra tracks with a live band. I have used Protools in the passed as it was very stable but would prefer to use Luna if it were suitable. Any advice would be helpful.

I would say, if LUNA is working for your rehearsals without issues, then use it!

I have used Live for shows and it is solid as a rock, for me.

Just remember to bring your own “uninterruptible power supply” for the computer system to insure you have stable power to keep everything powered up!

That's great, thanks for the thumbs up. I'm thinking of using a Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 3rd Gen as I need more outputs. Have you had any experience with a none UA interface?

I use Luna not only for recording but for band live sessions too, since the early days in 2020.
Plus rehearsals of my own 4 piece rock band two times a week.
Works flawless, apart from the persistent annoyance of not enough DSP resources in recording mode, although there are still plenty of resources available on the 12 chips.

Thanks for that, I'm only using for playback so that should be fine. Have you had any experience with a none UA interface?

I always use an Apollo for that because of real-time plugins and unison preamps. On the fly demo recording is very important for me and the main reason for Apollo’s in the studio.

Playback only shouldn’t be any critical, so why not.
What are you afraid of?

First thing I thought of when I saw this thread. Now, I use live for all composing and then Luna for mixing personally. (when I've got something to mix)
