Using plugins on a second PC

I have just purchased a second PC, and intend running many of my VSTi from that, using FX Teleport for the link to the master PC, which will run Cubase and which houses the UAD PCI cards. This will free a lot of the CPU and memory on that computer, and make setup more efficient.

My question is whether it is possible to instal UAD PCIs on the slave PC and for them to work just as well as on the master PC?

Any views on this?

That's a good queston. Whether a different machine constitutes a new registeration or whether they are bridgable under the 4 card setup. One I would like to know the answer to myself.

I asked the fx-teleport folks about that, and the answer was 'it works for some people, not others'.

How does this teleport thing work?
What do I need to do, to make it all work. So, I bring up a project of Cubase or Nuendo, then what? Do I bring up the teleport on as a added fx channel, and then what? How do I teleport from the other pc, what do I do, how do I bring up the plugs etc?

Gosh!!!......... Wonder how it all works!

I, too am setting 3 computers with fx teleport, I just have a problem with my 1010lt driver , I was just curious to know if there are people here using a setup near from the one I have and that are able to install their 64bit driver on win xp x64 sp1
