I thought I might be able to give something back to the forum that has helped me so much with day to day headscratching
Using the pultec as a de-esser is very easy and very quick to setup
now this is the way that I do it but there is many different options..
all you need to do is attenuate the frequency causing you trouble..
say 10 or more db at 3-5khz then record the attenuated vocal to another track and then cut and paste the tiny little essy bits that you need back into the original track..easy
I did it last night and it took me about 15 minutes and it worked like a dream....nob
