Hi All,
We have just posted a new Universal Binary Preview Release 2 update (now tagged v4.4.2).
This has numerous fixes/changes including:

• • VST and AU formats combined into one unified installer
  • (AU) Plug-in preset bar now works on Intel Macs
  • (AU) LA2A and 1176LN/SE plugins now load session data properly on Intel Macs
  • (AU) Fixed issue with certain plug-ins not outputting stereo when in a mono input-stereo output configuration
  • (All) Improvements for \"Touch Fader\" automation support

Yes. Particularly the improvements on touch fader automation support.

Also, we would encourage all users to try the public preview and give us feedback. It is not just for intel mac users.

Is the uad1 express hardware compatible with mac pro? I mean the chipsets etc... Does the DMA mode work or must one use the same compatibility mode as with PCI-X macs?

edit. Ok, got the answer from UA website and another forum member. UAD1e should work well.
