Virus TI

Are any of you guys going to buy the Access Virus TI, now that it has finally been set a new release date?

Oct 3rd...

The demos sound impressive - here and here.

I am not sure if it worth all that money to replace my Virus C XL, although a keyboard would be nice, mmm, decisions decisions...

I've got a Indigo II (C with keys) and don't feel the need for the new \"Super-Saw-Multi-Oscillator-simulations-thingy\".
also the \"Total integration\" via USB ist not necessary for me.
I compose a song in Multi mode but every track is then recorded via analog gear in single mode. So there's no need for the new processor power in multi mode.

My understanding is that they've pretty much re-done all the oscillators. I just wish they'd release TI for Powercore.

Do you think that will eventually happen?

Eurocide - I kinda agree with you.

The thing is - then I heard the demos! I am quite gutted that it sounds so good!

Might be right, but after 3 years I still haven't explored all the possibilities of the Virus. I think, it is a bit risky for access-music to put the concentration on detuned super-saw trance leads.
I agree with you Eurocide - I'm pretty much certain I still haven't tapped half of it's potential, but unfortunately I find myself running out of voices even in single mode!!

Perhaps. I wrote off the possibility before because it seemed like Access forgot about the plug-in as soon as it was released, but then that recent bug-fix happened so maybe they're paying attention, after all. The current Virus plug-in is selling extremely well, it'd definitely be smart of them to release a TI upgrade later on.

It'll be great if TC does so!
