Hi all. I'm new to the site, and I registered only because of one problem that I have with the Volt 1 audio card. I bought this card new, recently. I work and spend all my time wearing headphones that need correction. The most adequate “equalizer” for me is the Realphones program by dSoniq. The problem is random sound cuts, as if someone turned the card off and on again, quickly. This happens every 30 seconds, I haven’t measured it exactly. This happens in Windows, in games, in YouTube, in Spotify. Everywhere except FL Studio. There Realphones works as a VST plugin, and Volt drivers are selected in the audio settings. There are no conflicts there. But outside the DAW, dropouts begin. These glitches in sound are very annoying. dSONIQ technical support said that this is due to a conflict between their driver and the Universal Audio driver. If you turn off the realphones and just leave the sound output to the Monitor Mix in Windows, there are no glitches in the sound.
I tried everything: the sampling rate in Windows and in the card and in Realphones is the same, I raised and lowered the audio buffer - nothing helps. Without this program, my headphones simply do not give me the bass I need.
I found a post on the Gearspace forum from someone who had a similar problem.
I'm wondering if there are any users on this audio card who also use Realphones in Windows. Do you have problems with sound?
p.s. Before Volt 1 i had Presonus Audiobox iTwo and i haven't such sound dropouts with Realphones app.
