volt and small UAD interfaces

hello there guys ..

i have a quick question about the volt 2 interface.
I already own a UAD Apollo 8 interface and and bought few UAD plugins to my self. im think about getting a small UAD interface for traveling purposes. was think about the VOLT 2. Is it just a regular small UAD interface like the Arrow was? am i gonna be able to use the console app with it and in that case be able to mount some plugins on console to ta advantage of no latency situation ??

many thanks

No, Volts are class compliant USB device and have no DSP and don't use Console.

I have one, it's really well built and the drivers work well. That's what I use it for is my lappy for like a coffee shop. I use mine on a windows 11 platform (haven't tried it on this Mac because I now use the babyface pro.

Get an Arrow. It's cheap and I believe it's the only bus-powered UAD interface. An Arrow actually makes more sense now than when it was released, given that we now have UADx plugins to offset the limited DSP.

I bought a B-stock Arrow online to use as my remote interface. I believe the Apollo Arrow is now Apollo Solo, if you want the newer version.

i want cheap-portable as possible and be able to use antares auto-tune and a few other UAD plugins on console app to avoid latency when recording peoples vocals ... so i guess ill go for an used arrow or so.

many thanks
