Hey there,
I recently purchased an Apollo Twin X Heritage Edition, and I'm running it with my Mac Mini M1 2020. I am sending out to a pair of Genelecs 8020A via jack to XLR cables and I am predominantly working with Ableton.
My issue is that there is a curious ceiling to volume - I have my speakers at full volume (which I never used to do with previous interfaces) and until I drive the monitor level to about -6db it's still quiet, even when audio is hitting -3 on the main output meter.
it just feels like I should have a lot more headroom, and it makes me concerned about something being wrong in the signal chain. The only thing I can think of being wrong is that I'm not using balanced jack to xlrs - would this reduce volume?
thanks in advance x
