Mac Versions yet??? It's been a year... and Intel Macs abound. A Cheap MAcBook is a nice test platform.....

And for those who get angry with me. Remember HE is the person who promised us mac versions, Not me..... and a YEAR??? Please. Any individual programmer worth his salt can port these with ease. The algorithms are done.

All he has to do is PUBLICLY state that he will not support the MAc Platform and I will hush my mouth.... Just like he PUBLICLY stated he'd support us, if you dont love us. Then say so...

Even Intuit was Big enough to say No More to Mac for Quickbooks, and then in a reversal of fortune (meaning they saw money) they changed their tune. PUBLICLY!!!!

I will try to get such metering implemented for the next season (somewhere in Q1-Q2'2005) as I'm planning to move to multi-platform software development tools (to support Mac and more plug-in formats). This way it will be easier to implement new features which I never planned to implement before.

And yet even more......

I'm planning to get Mac support working after Q2'2005 hopefully.
And yet we are in Q3 2006. 5 Quarters later. I am not letting this go till he ADMITS he WONT SUPPORT US!!!!!!

Not at the moment, unfortunately. We are working on Mac versions at the moment, but I can't give an exact release date.
And......

Neil, I get your drift. :) Still, CurveEQ 3 is in the plans, only. We are focusing on Mac port these weeks, so no new large projects can be started. But after Mac port is ready I will have much more motivation and a better technical base to work on CurveEQ 3.
Note the dates... This is a like a girlfriend making a promise and stringing you along....

Yes, I understand your question. Of course, I have something to release. First of all, we have our first VST working on Mac OS X (tested in Tracktion 2). Secondly, everything is starting to be in portable state - I'm slowly discontinuing using pure assembler as it is non-portable. Another feature we have implemented is standard re-skinning and re-colouring plus UI scaling setting (very useful if you are using 1600x1200 resolution). By the time the first VST is released using our new 'core SDK', we'll be able to offer VST2.4 plug-ins in both 32-bit and 64-bit CPU modes.
April Mind you.........4 months ago you had a working prototype?????

4 MONTHS.. But you keep releasing new plugins????? BUT CANT FINISH ONE SIMPLE MAC PORT????? and MAKE IT AVAILABLE??????

Fancy the Tri Tone Guys managed to get all their stuff working on BOTH PLATFORMS.....

Ok, Enuff venting for the day.

Good Lord...

Aleksey might be a better guy than me, so at least you might still have a chance at your mac versions.

But after all that whiney crap you just dished out I would tell you to just go jump in a lake.

Well, I think Aleksey saw very clearly how loved he is by the Mac community.
