want to buy a UAD-1 card but...

Im worried theyll bring out a new card about a week after i buy the old one :p
So if this did happen would the original uad-1 still be usable along with a new one, would the old plugins run on the new card?
Im sure UAD would incorporate some type of backwards compatibilty?

Most stores have 30 day return policies (& we'll extend beyond that if you're respectful of the situation & return the goods & packaging in like new condition) so you'll at least be protected for that long. In the worst case scenario that something should be announced 31 days from now, it'll still be 60 days later when the product is actually released. UA will probably do some kind of upgrade/crossgrade deal, anyway.

Don't expect a new card anytime soon. I have my doubts they will make a new card this year if even at all. :|
