WARNING : SONAR users : VST Public Beta Adapter expired

If you are a SONAR user, you mayhave downloaded the VST public BETA Adapter from the Cakewalk site that is purposed to adjust some errors when loading some UAD1 plugins into your projects.

This BETA version is time stamped as many have already discovered ; the program stopped working today, August 1st. This was not advertised on the site. Donwloading the latest version (which they say now will expire in October) does not work.

So far, only two solutions have been found :
- to maintain the date before August 1st (but you are living in the past)
- to re install SONAR (and 5.1 & 5.2 patches) - but you will lose any UAD1-related improvments

Let's hope Cakewalk will have a real fix very soon

Good news !

The guys at Cakewalk have been very responsive, and found where the error was in that beta version, so a fix will be posted on the CW site very shortly.
