What do you find meaningful in life?

Hi! I'm a newbie here, but just wanted to ask this question. I think (if I'm not mistaken) I could be the youngest one here (I'm 18), so I wonder how someone with more life experience would answer this question. Especially considering all the changes our society is going through right now (although I suppose society is constantly evolving therefore the change is constant as well).

Hi there.

This post is not intended to downplay the question, but
it just reminds me so much of a line from a movie I watched when I was around your age (the line was actually a variation of something from a book about Genghis Khan)...

Conan the Barbarian was asked, "What is best in life?" He answered, "To crush your enemies. See them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women!"

Well, that would be a tough one for me, but the closest thing I can think of is some form of inner-peace. That's tough for me to do. It's been a rough road here and I'm pushing 60. This forum is a good example of how far I've come. Like most here, I try and be as nice and thoughtful as possible, even though the shit is flying around me pretty hard. Here, I find people respond in kind, thus to the question, mo' inner peace.
