solid as usual toystein.

original and groovy!

i just read on yer info:
\"For fans of:modest mouse, the cure, prince, the police\"

i was just thinking when i heard the song: \"when did sting join the NPG?\"

not that this sounds similar to anything of the two, you rather use your influences in a smart and tasteful way.
keep it up, looking forward to your next release!

I'm glad you liked the track. I have a few older tracks I'm going to share next, I need to get them off my hard drive. :?

I have a lot of influences, but one I really need to add is Steely Dan. I love their stuff, my father force fed me at a young age, I'm glad he did.

Didn't you have some problems with some guy mastering your music, how did that come out? Do you have anything shared? I'd love to hear what you've been brewing.

thanks for taking the time to listen, I appretiate your comments.

hey toystein,
no that wasn't me who had to deal with a piece of crap mastering studio. i think it was \"spacey\" touch wood...

however i'm recording as we speak, some songs 3 yrs old and some brand new. i'm hoping to put some out soon!
i promised myself i would spend this summer finishing tracks. (between having a gin/tonic or two..)

just gonna have to find some free web space.

my bad, the mastering problem was Sparky... Sounds like a nightmare.

When you get some songs finished I'm sure you'll post to this group. I'll be looking for them. Gin and Tonic? Actually that's not all that bad, I tried for the first time the other month or so. hehe.. Now, get working on some tunes ya lush.

Free web space? -- just use soundclick.com - real easy

Peace

Awesome ToyStein.

Reminds me of being a kid and listening to Michael Jackson's \"Off the Wall\" album. Love that stuff.

I hear the Steely Dan. You've got a cooled out groovier version of SD's sound though. SD always sounded a little stiff for my tastes.

The synth works on this tune. Which one is it? Sounds like a Roland Juno or something.

I'd be interested to hear which UAD plugins you employed and where.

Great work.
