Many of us are talking about \"their\" EQ and \"their\" plugin settings.
But I think, that most of the opinions on using the UAD and other plugins depend on the music style you are making.
E.g.:
- acoustic recordings & rock & jazz could need those ultra-precise EQs and softer compression
- modern heavy metal needs other tweaking than 60's sound
- dance music needs to be compressed-to-f***
- electronic styles draw all the bars to get a specific effect
- a master engineer needs other tools than a mixing engineer
etc.
So, what's your style?
It should clear your taste & opinion on EQs, compressors, colorations in this forum.
To start it: my style is electronic stuff with UAD settings that let some of you stand the hair on end  - but it sounds objective right for this style (not for me only)
