Where have my Console main controls gone!?

Hi Everyone, just opened up my computer to start work and the main controls have gone from Console? I rebooted but no changed! any help appreciated!

Tried rebooting , no change, the monitor section as gone, and also when I try to insert Console in Pro Tools it crashes, and in Logic I get this message....
Everything was fine til today, I have changed nothing!

Try trashing preferences, if that fails uninstall / reinstall uad driver package

Please excuse my ignorance, I really have no idea what trashing preferences means, and where do I find the UAD driver package? many thanks

Very odd, but as I was trying to follow the trash preferences instructions, I clicked on something and it said do I want to save new console settings, which I checked, now everything is FINE! monitor sections is back, all goo, so I didnt even need to trash preferences! ??

Good deal. I was going to suggested creating a new window in Console before trashing preferences.
