Greetings All
We all like a good bargin but there's certainly no such thing as a free lunch
However, many of us have really appreciated Native plugins, decent deals and Luna being made available to all Mac owners regardless of whether they own hardware or not. Hats off to UA for this
.
The recent craziness, confusion over bundle pricing and 3rd party resellers selling the Signature Bundle for $150 has really left a bad taste in the mouths of many. Many have felt let down and others ripped off when a new and better bundle has appeared a week or so later after they have spent their hard earned cash.
With all hell breaking loose on this forum many feel that UA have lost a chunk of credibility with their loyal customer base. Many new customers have also been left wondering why a company with the great rep that UA has has allowed this kind of situation to happen.
Some questions to UA:
1) Will @UniversalAudio for the love of plugins please give full clarification on the current situation that customers have faced? (Perhaps an apology to the community might also help).
2) Will you fulfil the serials people have purchsed/received from 3rd party resellers like Plugin Discounts/Audio Deluxe/Vintage King etc when buying the Signature Bundle for $150?
3) Is Vintage King still a viable option for getting the Signature Bundle at $150? https://vintageking.com/universal-audio-uad-signature-edition-bundle-crossgrade
4) Will you going forward make an effort to really simplify your strategy and bundle pricing so your customers have full trust in the brand going forward?
As a Spark subscriber I'd also love to know if will you add value to Spark by also giving customers access to the DSP versions of your plugins within that subscription?
We all love the products UA make and want to see UA succeed but something has to give. Mistakes happen we appreciate that but how a company deals with them is really what matters.
Cheers
Jay
