Who will use the $50 "January Thanks" Coupon Code?

UA just ended a long sale. Great deals!

All prices are now back to “regular” prices. No more stressing about sales ending etc.

But looky looky! They now kindly dropped a $50 "Thank you" coupon code!
But with a minimum spend $100 (a few plugs are, of course, $99..]

Literally no one is going to use this (except a few people reading this, ready to comment "I have a lot of unused 'Thank you' codes!!! so I am adding another 50!!!")

So why are they doing this? Honest question!

Edit: So I tried adding a $149 plugin, using the code. But it turns out you can't add a $25 Thank you to it, because it brought the price under $100

I had a 'Thank You' coupon that I let go to waste since I was running out of options that I really wanted to get. With that and the new $50 coupon (total $75), the prices are still higher than how much it would have cost on sale. The minimum it would cost is $74. With the recent sale prices, it's going to be hard for me to spend more than $30-40/plugin since that's the most I spent. Most were even less than that.

Not sure I'd use it now that the prices are all way up. Would have been sweet in the sale though! Used to get $50 coupons back in the day during sales which is probably how I ended up with more plugins.

Not that this makes a single plug-in purchase worth it for me. But maybe they read the thread, because at least I can now add my $25 thank you coupon to the JAN2024 and get a 149 plugin for 75 (would not work before, because it brought the price under 100).

So if you have a 50 thank you, maybe you can get the "cheapest" ones down to 50 bucks.

I have a $50 coupon and a $25. I am going to use both of them towards the buy 2 plug-ins for $199. That reduces teh cost down to $124. Now this is where the bargain comes in. I am choosinng 2 plugins that regularly cost $349 each. Instead of paying $698, I'll be paying $124.

LOL they lose nothing. It's a martketing ploy to say something costs $349 retail and in actuality UAD developed the plugin for a tiny fraction of the the retail price.

Wow UAD knows how to get my money!! I just received an offer for 10 plugins for $299. I can split that cost across 4 payments with Klarna, making this very affordable. Now I am having fun demo'ng plugins to see which 10 I need/want. Gotta love UAD marketing folks!
