win10 download error! FAQ no helps! nothing helps!

i installed UA Connect first time and when downloading the plugins I got an error !!! (Let's Try Something Else)
i never use UAD before...
Having spent a lot of time on the Internet and an attempts to reinstall,

I found one post for macOS, but anyway that speaks of the Ua-helper service, and that the problem can be in it ...
I found this service and it was installed, but it was stopped and set on a manual launch...
When I changed it for automatic start, it still could not start and giving an error 160. (One or more arguments are not correct)
Is this a core of problem that I can’t download plugins ?? If so, how to solve it?

Im not Stupid user, I try all FAQ, reinstall, disable firewall, delete hosts file, nothing Helps..
It's just terrible that you made such an installer!
This is just an installation of plugins, why should I depend on some small things that break everything?
I created a ticked by email, but there they sent me only links to FAQ, for three weeks....
despite the fact that I said that I had already studied and tried all of them!

During this time, my trial has already ended, but I have not even tried the plugin, it is terrible and stupid!
Please Solve your problems with the installer!

From the top of my head, can you please make sure your Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable packages are up-to-date?
Download latest updates HERE

Also, install or update to latest Web2View as UA Connect is web-based and requires it.
Download HERE (Evergreen Standalone Installer x64)

Alternatively, you can run System File Checker as described HERE. There's a chance some of the system files are damaged and you aren't aware.

I'm on Windows 10 22H2 with latest updates and no issues here.

No issies on my Windows 10 box either. I also run the SFC check monthly, and also run installers 'as admin' out of paranoia. I also change my DNS from crappy ISP to Google and Clousflare.

Let's assume that this is true, and some OS files were damaged ...
But I do not need to use all my system files for just unpacking!
All that we need from the installer just put files in certain folders! finish!
To do this, it do NOT need to use super technologies and even more, do not need to use all the OS files.

I use lot of of plugins and programs from different companies, and NO ONE of them has problems, not with installing, not with unpacking, not have any errors in OS. So, even give a chanse that you are right, it does not make sense in this case, it just MUST NOT.
it has nothing to do with installation...Activation is completed, the license check has passed, it remains to simply place files on the disk ... This is an elementary operation. This is not a libraries error, or problematic work of plugins... it's just an installation ...

Only YOU can do this and should be done periodically to keep Windows healthy.
Files can get corrupted or oddball permissions from so many installs, uninstalls, saving settings for Windows, updates, etc.

The installer works for tens of thousands of people with your same system, so it's not a problem with the installer, but with your system, and folks here ---- who do not work for the company --- are trying to help you sort it. Unless you try ALL the suggestions it may never work for you.

Running SFC is normal part of system maintenance for complex uses like music and video setups vs mom playing mahjong and checking gmail.

Installation may fail if the system cannot write to the desired location, due to permissions problem. SFC will fix that, in most cases.

I had to run this recently as my Garmin software would not backup and update my satnav for old car. Running SFC fixed that and then it worked, when everything else seemed to work okay. Seriously --- TRY IT.

I have all permissions, and I am the administrator of my OS. I have a solid working and stable system ...
I am also IT engineer so I know what the "health" of the system is, and what connections with the installer should have.
But I also have no way to break it with examiners with a change in system files, but what is more important - I do not need.
If one of the thousands of installers cannot simply extract files, I do not know that the coders made “special” in it, but this “special” part - this is problem , and it should be fixed, for “ordinary”. this is the problem of the installer, and UAD must fix this problem!
People work on systems do not play, interference in the system should be minimal, it is just extracting!

No need to put me up with an idiot, I did everything that I can do as an IT administrator for the solid and stable work of my system.
now its UAD turn.
You can out, because this topic is not for users like you, but for UAD coders .

But when you act a certain way with an agent, you forfeit your right to support.

Might I suggest a reply that "resets" the conversation with the agent?

Ok, let me be direct since there is a language issue here. Apologize to the agent and start the conversation over.

Support agents have a process they MUST go through. You have to follow it and do as they ask.

The problem is that I do not want to communicate with the agent and waste time on what I answered in the first message,
then three weeks were spent on the repetition of already written! but all that I need is give it to qualified coders, to a search a real problem, and not just consultants who are copy-paste FAQ.
What should I do for send me to a qualified coders?
