Hi
I just sat through this

http://channel9.msdn.com/Showpost.aspx?postid=145665

and it sounds like there are some very interesting changes in the Audio stack especially around latency

Can anyone from UAD give some details on the product plans around Vista ?

thx

Yeah, I watched that video a few weeks ago myself. It appears the new audio architecture, in Vista, will be more robust, have less CPU overhead, lower latencies and allow a more streamlined way to write new audio drivers, as well. WDM as we know it will be a thing of the past. Probably why many companies have not jumped on the XP64 bandwagon and are waiting on Vista (XP's successor), to write finalized 64bit drivers.
