A suggestion for UAD hardware?

UAD Rackmountable standalone w/pci unit..

Specs..

Color LCD..
Fast DSP...
2U or 3U space rack unit..
8 XLR connectors - plus digital etc..
PCI express connection to function just like internal when connected to pc...
Knobs for all adjustments (avoiding hidden menu pages)..
Switchable between Tube buffered in/out (and Transformer) bypassable w/ saturation knob..

Could be used as standalone without a pc (or for on the road)...

+ 4 wheels and a 600hp engine fueled only with the great powerful mix you just did with the unit or simply buspowered from the hostcomputer. The knobs act as steering-wheel when the unit is in \"car mode\". And it must be dasychainable with at least one more unit so one of those hot looking chicks that retail with it can accompain you. Anything less and I won't buy anything from ua ever again.

Who said mediocrity ?
Basically all I'd need is MORE POWER, stability and compatibility (so UA can sell more units and keep in business comfortably).
Mx favorite would be a Magma style box for up to 8 UADs with a choice of PCI, PCIe and Notebook adapter cards.
UA would benefit from a much broader customer base, technically it would be massively superior to FW or USB and you either could buy a fully loaded unit or buy cards whenever you lust for more power.

Yeah I've been asking for a Magma style UA box for a long time now.

I'd like 4 PCI slots for the old UAD-1s and 4 PCIe slots for the next generation card(s)

Well if they make someting like SSL i´d be migthy impressed.
I franckly choose less larency, stability over power.
Do you think back in the 60\\70´s, even earlier, they did worst than is done today... guess what?? no PC´s but go faster stripes and spoilers on the back.

Btw a combo setup isn´t a smart investmment.
