Posted in the new December Webzine ...

\"x64 Windows Drivers
UA Engineers are hard at work on x64 drivers for the Windows platform. Please watch this space and the uaudio.com homepage for more information on a preview release.\"

Where have we heard this before? I feel like I deserve a free plugin for waiting so damn long ... I mean continue to wait so damn long.

I too saw this in the Webzine but decided just to kick the neighbour's cat instead of spending more time bitching on here.

So said, I don't even want a free plugin - I just want to terminate my XP32 installation with extreme prejudice and move 100% to the 64-bit edition.

Like a lot of other folks around here and elsewhere, the UAD cards are the last piece of the puzzle - the solution for which I am increasingly bored of waiting for...

Let alone the UAD-2.

...and I do notice that the \"late in Q4\" language from the press release has disappeared.

Hopefully this doesn't mean it has slipped to Q1 or later...

My guess there'll be something at NAMM. But UA are pretty smart, and they've seen what happens on these forums if they suggest a date and don't hit it... so perhpas they're still targetting the end of the year, but giving themselves a little breathing room in case everyone goes skiing ;)
