x8 Upgrade from Twin mk2

Got a new x8 last week. Finally got an opportunity to really turn it on and try it out for more than 30 seconds. It's a definitely step up in sound quality compared to my old Apollo twin mk2. Without getting hyperbolic, it feels pretty noticeably different, which I really wasn't expecting. Was thinking it would be a more nominal change.

I don't have what I would consider to be golden ears and I noticed that some music I listen to sounded even better and other things sounded even worse. Kind of like a TV with super fast refresh rates can sometimes make movies look almost uncomfortable smooth, some of the "underground" music I listen to (mostly EDM) showed warts that were previously hidden.

That was pretty cool.

What hasn't been as cool is running into DSP notices when I still have like 25% of my DSP available with 8 total sharcs in my system. I'm sure there's some rhyme or reason to it I don't understand, but that has been less impressive than I had expected.
