XBOX'S PLAYSTATION'S FUTURE MUSIC MACHINES ?

I was reading about the new Xbox and playstation in computer music magazine way back they claim they are that powerful we'll probebly one day ditch our PC's/Mac's and make music on them instead...

Then today i read that Princeton Digital and Microsoft have entered into a joint development and licensing agreement to develop professional quality audio processing software for Microsoft's Xbox , anybody whose familiar with princeton digital know they make quality high end plugins.

maybe things are moving faster than i thought.

I think they said that the Princeton reverb will be ported (or is it already?) for use by the game developers, not for a DAW use.
