Yo Akis... Any word on Old Poco Bugs Being Fixed?

Hi,

I've posted @ the TC site and got no reply.

I currently use Poco Element with 1.96 drivers. I have come to believe that -every- lock up I have had on my new computer (AMD X2-4400) has been because of Poco. It never happens when I use UAD-1 or any other plugs.

So...

Does anyone here have the skinny on whether or not TC is aware of the issue -and- if they intend to offer a fix for us old-fashioned Poco users who have no intention of upgrading to PocoII?

Thanks,

---JC

PS: Anyone wanna buy a Poco Element cheap? Since I got extra UAD-1s I only keep the Poco for backward compatibility. UAD-1 now does everything I need. The only thing I dig about Poco is the shorter latency.

Hey JC,

TC are certainly aware of the problem. I've sent them an e-mail in the 22th of December asking if the fix for that will be included in the v.2.0 release and I'm still awaiting a reply. The status of my question in their database is 'Critical', so they haven't ignored me, they're most probably pulling their hair out trying to fix this issue with the A8V/X2.

BTW, the problem happens more often with the mkII, so upgrading your card wouldn't fix it.

If you haven't already done so, please e-mail them describing the problems you're facing.

Cheers,

Already done. They never replied, but I know they're out there. I can hear their compressors breathing.

Thanks,
