Is there a plan for a discount for owners of Antares Auto Tune 8? This is a wish of mine for a long time to put auto tune on my Apollo inputs for even lower latency. Hopefully you can run it with the SSL 4000 with a Solo DSP unit.

Hi GWR,

Sorry ,there isn't a discount for existing Antares at this time.

AutoTune Realtime does indeed fit on a single channel with the SSL 4000 Channel Strip, so you're good to go there.

Cheers!

GK, since the chart isn't updated yet can you give an idea on the DSP usage of the new plugins?

That's a bummer but it is a pretty useful feature so I can understand the reasoning behind it. Thank you, looking forward to trying it out

That is amazing and I am finally glad it got here.

Auto Tune!!!!! At zero latency.

It is zero latency right?

So cool, I need to start looking for a twin now

GK, can you say why UAudio has decided against making the installer in such a way that the user can select what plugins to install and even what formats? Every survey you guys have ever sent me, this is my number 1 request.
what am I missing?

Been using the Duende SSL Buss comp and enjoying it, just tried the demo of the new UAD SSL and it just killed it. And I had thought the Duende was very good. UAD made it sound tiny. Great job!

Hi RSP,

The unified installer strategy has been really good for most people because it's a sure fire way to ensure all the drivers, software and plug-ins are in sync. The downside is the large size, so understand the desire to manage the install.

We're always looking at ways to improve so, thanks for the suggestion!

Cheers!

Hi GK,

Hope all is well.. Just a quick one, Is there any reason why the new SSL 4000 Comp is priced at £229 for the individual purchase against £110 for the SSL Console Bundle?, Would that be because I already own the new Channel Strip?

All the best

Hi Jojo,

Yes, that's it - since you already own the new Channel Strip the system knows it removes it automatically and reduces the price down.

Cheers!

Lol I have and others have been suggesting it for years. For me it isn't about the download size. I dont' mind downloading the whole shebang, I just don't want to have to go to all four of my hosts on two different machines and disable the ones I haven't bought and don't have a license for, everytime a new uad plugin comes in and I download the installer.
Plus I beta test for some of those hosts and sometimes in beta testing, some of those DAWS forget the enabled and disabled plugins.

Yeah, I get that and it's definitely something we'd like to improve, but it's not likely to happen in the short term.

We'll never have a shortage of enhancements, that's for sure!
