That includes OWC and a CalDigit TB hubs, a 4 bay OWC TB mini SSD expansion chassis, and 2 UA Apollos. Also, my iMac has only TB 1 bandwidth, even though all of my TB peripherals are TB2. Of course, you need enough video bandwidth and memory to handle the monitor.
Thank you both, sounds like it should just work , I don't think RAM and GPU power should be an issue as they would only be small screens at 1080 or 1440 as I have a pretty small working space, plenty of RAM in the machine

That latency, however, was using Studio One 3.5 and its hybrid setup, which was very impressive. .
No doubt, there is always track and export.

I usually do this in a live setup, especially with the abundance of Digital mixers in the wild.

X32’s and Studio live mixers all feed into a Mac book superbly

Anyone know how the Quantum stack up in terms of sound quality compared to the 2nd gen Apollo’s?

    Kind regards Mats

I have always found that in the area of Pre Amps the difference is always the Unison Plugs...

That being said there is D/A to be considered as well for sound quality.

I don’t know the answer to that one...

Thx for all the help inputs! I was thinking about getting a Quantum for Studio One 3 only and keep my Apollo’s for my other applications. Not sure though if I get disappointed by the converter quality.. /Mats
