    Mixing videos.

Can we make a thread about mixing videos?

Youtube is full of mixing videos, good and bad. Sometimes itīs not easy to find the good ones. Would be great to get some more videos that i have probably missed. I start and these can be examples what kind of videos i am looking for:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFx4gBSwM3g&t=474s

Mick Guzauski Masterclass on Pop and Funk Mixing [ft. Jamiroquai]. A good example where you donīt need to do much when the production, arrangement and sounds are top quality. Though i canīt stop feeling that the bass is fighting the drums and especially the kick drum in this song. I would have maybe worked a bit the bass to make it sit a bit better with drums. Interesting that he also has those two bassline together without hi-passing the other which makes it even more bassy.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHxMsawJsTc&t=1797s

    Mixing Masterclass with Bob Power

There was so many good tips in this video. Great song and again pretty minimal mixing when everything is just working.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCeg37gMqQ4&t=1287s

Stuart White on Psychedelic Mixing & Layering Effects

Really nice song and cool mixing. This guy uses a lot of processing.

    Mick Guzauski is awesome.

There's a g****load of good stuff out there. So many excellent engineers are happy to share their tricks.

I'd love a bit from Andy Wallace.

There is certainly a lot out there. A nice primer from Michael White is:

How are people feeling about Mix with the Masters these days? https://mixwiththemasters.com

I'm guessing it's probably been discussed around here before, but as they are always adding things, just curious if anyone had shelled out for them and felt it was worth it. I've watched everything free they have and they were fun to watch. It's just a lot of cash to my budget. But I'm getting ready to finish my album and thought I might subscribe and watch these before I mix it, in case I get some new insights. But I don't have a large console to work with like almost all of them do.

But, as above, SonicScoop's channel does have a lot of good ones. I have an Apple TV and I subscribe to a bunch of good channels on YouTube there. The cool thing is that watching a bunch of these it will show you more like it. It does that on the YouTube website as well, but on the TV you can just sit there comfortably and watch these endlessly.

Yep, I second this vote. I am taking six courses from Mike right now and I find them to be really excellent!
Apollo "Silverface" Quad Thunderbolt 1 / "Trashcan" Mac / Studio One 3.5.1 Pro / '73 Precision bass

And, Ray Brown's "Holey pegged" bass - from the Oscar Peterson trio. That baby is now doing classical orchestral duties, and nicely, too!

I subscribed. It's worth every penny. I think it's probably the best I've seen. And for mixing totally 100% in the box Andrew Scheps has a couple of videos on there

    Yes.

You won't find someone as thorough, engaged, and experienced as Michael White. He's a helluva nice guy, as well.

I WARMLY recommand this very fresh one : $0,99 of ideas and fun with a guy that bring something a bit different on the table
    Videos

I really like his very sensitive way to make the sound he's digging for ( event if I don't dig to all of his stuff ))
Nothing revolutionary, but some unusual tricks to grab and treat a drum kit

If you watch every one of these videos, you'll end up never knowing when enough is enough and will never finish another mix.
