    Octaver ?

Does anyone know if there a plugin that runs on the Apollo which can do an octave drop (turn guitar into a bass!)?
It would be handy compared to buying a pedal, or carrying a bass around to hotels with me.

    Thanks

I haven't tried for guitar to bass but you could demo BX_Subsynth

Not much in the uad catalog.

If you need the feel of bass, while tracking.
Check out, Jam Origin midi guitar 2. I find it way better to just convert to midi and trigger a bass plugin instrument in realtime.
You also get the bonus of triggering any plugin instrument with your axe. Great for creativity.

Or just do the edit in the daw, extract midi from audio and trigger a bass instrument or alter the pitch.

There is a good one that you can get free. It is among the FX plug-ins that are included in Reaper. Justin Frankel, the fellow who developed and owns Reaper has put these on his website for anyone to download free. I know these work with Windows, but don't know if they also work with MAC the way they do in Reaper for Mac.

The plug-in is called: JS Pitch an Octave Down

You can download them here (without needing to download or install Reaper): https://www.reaper.fm/reaplugs/

I believe this gives you most of the 240 plug-ins that come with Reaper. There are some really good FX in there.

I came here to ask this question. I'm gigging with my Apollo Twin and was looking at an octave pedal, but since I'm playing through my Apollo anyway, I wondered if there was a plug-in. Does the H910 Harmonizer do this?
