How do I turn Direct Monitoring off?

Hi everyone :)

I'm trying to use the ARC2 System, but keep running into a feedback situation.

If I turn the Twin's Volume up enough to hear the Test Tone at my normal (around 75 dB) listening volume, the Measurement Mic causes feedback.

I have contacted IKMultimedia for help, and they have responded as follows:

1) It sounds like your audio interface may have the direct monitor or similar option turned on, so its sending the arc signal back through, which will cause this. Make sure there is no direct monitor, etc turned on.

2) Make sure the input channel on the Apollo is not re-feeding the effect signal back in. I have seen this before.

So how do I hear the Test Tone if I mute the Monitors?

Thanks,
Jerry

Mute the input channel you are using, in the apollo console.
Now you won't monitor the input direct through the console monitor outputs.

You will hear the signal from the software routed to your monitor outputs.
And the mic signal will just pass through to the software, and not be looped on the apollo console
