Hey gang,
Just dipping my feet into home recording. Having trouble sending audio recorded in logic out of the apollo twin to external effects and then being able to record it post effect. Outputs 1 and 2 of the twin go to my monitors. I tried following a youtube video suggesting use of the I/O plugin in logic, but when I select output 3/4 in the plugin as the send option, no audio is detected from the 3 or 4 output from the Apollo Twin.
I also tried sending it to a bus, sending the bus out of 3 and returning to a new audio track. The signal coming back is Extremely hot (sonic blasts at very low input levels), and metallic/robotic and sounding not at all right. This experience is the same for me with 3 different external units, a pedal, a space echo and the Overstayer.
I am sure this is a simple problem, but I just can't seem to get this right. Any help would be appreciated.
