Apollo x4 - no signal into Console when I open Pro Tools session

Hi everyone, I've been setting up a new X4, and it's been working fine, except for after I changed some settings on Pro Tools (after watching one of the UAD setup videos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyPnK4oGk_Q).

Now when I launch a session on Pro Tools, I hear 2 clicks in the x4, and while it remains on, there is no more signal coming through the mic or the Hi-Z channel. I have to switch the unit off and on again before the signal returns.

Any thoughts on what could be causing this and how to fix it?

Delete all ins and outs in PT and set them back to default. What was it you changed?

I suspect it was a combination of setting the defaults, and their being in stereo, and then plugging in a guitar to the Hi-Z channel 2, when there was a mic plugged into channel 1.

I tried setting the inputs to mono, and the outputs to stereo (screenshots attached), so that I could have a fader in Console using Virtual 1 and 2. Wonder if there's a better way of arranging these settings.

But now I have a problem that the reverb insert is creating weird sounds with the condenser mic on channel 1. Not sure whether it's the subsequent changes that could have caused that.
