Apollo twin mk2 mono button issues

Hi guys!
So, i hooked up my new Apollo twin mk2 today, and i am allready experiencing issues.
When clicking the MONO button the sound actually gets louder to the point where the sound gets a bit distorted.
The loudness and distortion is not like it was going to blow my speakers or anything, but it was noticeable.

I went into Ableton live and used the Utility plugin set to mono and switches the plugin on and off it and that sounded normal.
I have used Apogee Quartet up to this point and i routed the C "speaker button" to be a sum to mono and that worked as intended as well.

Also...another negative note on the audio interface allready besides the mono issue...the powerconnecter..wow..that does not sit very well into the hardware...it´s very loose.

Any suggestions on what this issue can be?

I have to say..this was a rather dissapointing start.

Ah, i see...well..i guess it´s good to see this was not a special issue with my unit. Seeing that topic was started several years ago i think i´ll just learn to work with it..tbh it seems to might be a blessing in disguise.
I would like to see..as mentioned in that link..to have the option to level the mono output.

YES, i figured out the locking mechanism on the powersupply just minutes after posting, so ..UAD...my bad.we´re good
